If you have a MK2/MK3 body style, the power window regulator from a MK3 GTi should bolt right in. Also a company called Electric Life makes aftermarket bolt-in direct replacement power window regulators for our Suzukis. You 'll want part number SZ03-K, which fits '89 - '96 2 door Suzuki Swifts.

It looks like you've got the power window switches, so your job should be easier. The basic idea is to reverse the motor polarity to make the motor go in either direction. According to my wiring diagram, there should be a 2 pin plug for the motor, and a 4 wire harness connector. From what I've pieced together, this should be your harness pinout:

R/Bl: passenger window harness
G/Bl: passenger window harness
B: Ground
B/Bl: Ignition 20A fuse (also goes to the passenger side switch)

I was just wondering if the electric life bolt in power windows would be a nice fix for the horrible window issue these cars have. I have a 93 gt with power windows already so if should be the easiest installation ever. I am asking now because my windows are starting to give me a hard time. thx

I'm assuming that the factory electric regulators suffer from the same slot elongation problem that afflicts the manual regulators. My old MK3 had an issue where the window would lower just fine, but take forever to go back up. Never did look further into it though.

resurrecting this thread...was wondering if anyone knew where to get the factory window regulators from-well, a replacement even-for a good price. My local parts carriers don't seem to list swift window motors.
Also, anyone have pics of the power window regulator/motor setup in and out of a 2 door setup.
