If it's anything like a MK3 dash there'll be about 3 screws along the top at the base of the windshield hidden behind plastic caps, 2 more on the sides, and then removal of any other screws that are hanging it up (glove box, center console, ash tray). There will likely also be some metal braces that will have to be removed as well.

If you do a search for "heater core" there's more detailed info on dash removal to be found.

ok, i have a 95 metro, and the previous owner put some wax on teh dash and left it in the sun....yeah so its crap....any ways, im sure you have the passenger side airbag in it and your going to have to take that out (remove glovebox and remove the two or three bolts holding it in BUT AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY, or you might set off the bag :-P ) remove the plating around the radio and such, and i cant quite remeber if you have to remove the thing around the guages....yeah i know its a really long and dumb process to remove it, this is why ive yet to tackle the project.
